Turn different image formats into one PDF

Use one workflow when your photos, scans, receipts or screenshots are stored in different image formats. SmallPNG keeps the selected order and creates one PDF page per image.

Common image-to-PDF examples

Submit several scans as one document

Combine photos of forms, IDs or scanned pages into a single PDF when a portal asks for one document instead of multiple image files.

Turn receipts into one PDF

Select receipt photos in the order you want and create one multi-page PDF for reimbursement, bookkeeping or record keeping.

Combine screenshots for sharing

Put a sequence of screenshots into one file so the recipient can open, print or archive a single PDF.

Mix JPG, PNG, WebP and JFIF

A job can contain several supported image formats. SmallPNG converts each selected image into one PDF page in the same order.

How to convert images to PDF

  1. 1Choose up to 50 JPG, JPEG, PNG, WebP or JFIF images.
  2. 2SmallPNG validates and prepares each image locally in your browser.
  3. 3Download one PDF with the images in the same order.

What happens to each image inside the PDF?

Each selected image becomes one PDF page. SmallPNG decodes images one at a time, draws them on a white canvas and embeds a high-quality JPEG representation in the PDF. Transparent PNG or WebP areas therefore become white. The PDF is built locally in your browser.

How page order works

The selected file order becomes the PDF page order. If order matters, choose or drop the images in the sequence you want before processing.

Image to PDF stays in your browser

Supported images are decoded and the PDF is assembled on your device. Transparent PNG and WebP areas are flattened onto a white page background.
